Weekend Review

Happy Monday, loves! Can you believe today is the first day of October?? To kick off the new month I thought I'd share a few photos from recent happenings...


Remember wayyyy back in March when I told you B (aka Otter's owner) and I bought Ben Harper tickets? Well, after a very long six month wait we finally got to go! To put it in one word the concert was amazing. The acoustic solo performance, in the gorgeous Cadillac Palace Theatre, lasted for three hours and left me (once again) completely in love with Mr. Harper. If you haven't ever listened to his music you need to right now. Seriously. Your heart will melt.

I spent Saturday reuniting with family at my cousin's wedding. It was small, simple, and the perfect setting to catch up loved ones that I hadn't seen in far too long.

After sending my Dad off to Mexico for the next two months (I know, I'm completely jealous too) my Mom and I spent a wonderful day together shopping. I found way too much at J. Crew (what's new) and the most adorable little mittens for my soon-to-be-nephew. Those are the cutest things ever, right?!

Weekend Review

Hi, loves! Did you all have a nice weekend? I spent my weekend with L and we had so much fun! A large portion of our time was devoted to flipping between Say Yes to the Dress and the Olympics, however we did take a break from lounging to go to a fun summer concert on Saturday night. While the concert was a little really crowded, L and I still managed to have a great time together! Don't you just love a great girls' weekend?

Weekend Review

How was my weekend you ask? Well, it just so happened to be the best.weekend.ever. Seriously!
Throughout the weekend I was able to spend time with M (a.k.a. the person with me in all of the photos below!), eat yummy food, drink delicious beer, AND accomplish two more things from my 25 Before 25 list! Here's a glimpse into why my weekend was so great...

I attended my first major league baseball game, which also happened to be number 10 on my list! Although it was an absolutely sweltering game with a temp of 105, M and I still had a great time!...and the Cardinals won!

After the game we went to BB's Jazz, Blues, and Soups where we had some delicious local brews, burgers, and listened to great blues!

On Sunday we knocked number 15 off of my list by visiting the St. Louis Zoo! It was once again a hot day, but we had such a fun time walking around looking at all of the adorable animals.

Happy Monday, friends! Did you have a nice weekend? I had a great kickoff to my "mini-retirement" by spending the weekend watching B (aka Otter's owner) in a golf tournament.

A few cold beverages, the hot sun, golf, and catching up on sleep is the perfect way to spend my time off, don't you think?!
