Bridal Shower Weekend Review

I had an amazing weekend with friends and family! As I mentioned on Friday, my weekend was packed with fun celebrations, two of which were for my lovely friend, N!

We started off the weekend with her bachelorette party...

And ended it with her fiesta themed bridal shower! I promised last Wednesday that I would share photos from the party, so here they are!

Although Sunday was absolutely sweltering (we ended up eating inside, hence the lack of table settings), we still managed to have a wonderful time. Now, the countdown to the wedding weekend begins!

Weekend Celebrations

Bridal Shower Inspiration

This weekend I'm hosting a bridal shower for my longtime friend, N! She has a very bright and outgoing personality, so I (along with my wonderful co-hostess) decided to add a fun fiesta theme to the shower! Monday Pick-Me-Up & Weekend Review!

Happy Monday, friends! I don't know about you, but nothing makes me happier than seeing friends that are in love....so, today I have the ultimate Monday Pick-Me-Up for you--photos of a proposal!

My friend C (you remember him, right?) had been talking about proposing to his girlfriend for a few weeks, so when he asked if I would help him pop the question I of course said yes!

After work on Friday afternoon I went to a local park and waited for C and his girlfriend to arrive--the plan was to stage the classic run-in..and it worked!

I first asked if I could take a photo of them for ATC. Notice C slipping a little wink into the photo...

And then C suggested that we try one more pose...

...and she said YES!

Seriously, my life is now complete. If you ever need a pick-me-up, just help a friend propose! Thanks for letting me be a part of it, C!

Monday Pick-Me-Up & Weekend Review!

Happy Monday, lovelies! I hope that your weekend was as beautiful as mine! Here are a few images to give you a quick review of my weekend...

Over the weekend I also reached the scary exciting mark of having been done with undergrad for two years. TWO years! Where has the time gone?! It honestly feels like it was just yesterday that I was posing with my friends and family in my cap and gown. Thinking about this made one of my favorite C.S. Lewis quotes (below) come to mind. I know what you're thinking, not much of a pick-me-up, but I think that some of the most inspirational moments come from times of reflection in thinking about how far you've come and how much you're grown.
